CCI: Google fails to get immediate relief before NCLAT

Earlier today, National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT)’s two-member bench dismissed Google’s request for an interim stay on an antitrust ruling by the Competition Commission of India (CCI) that imposed a penalty of Rs 1337.76 crore.

The appellate tribunal directs Google to deposit 10 per cent of Rs 1337.76 cr penalty, it has also issued notices to CCI and directed to list the matter on February 13, for hearing over interim stay.
