Campaign in C’garh to save people from online fraud
nIn a crackdown on online fraud, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Wednesday launched a campaign to make people aware of how careful and aware they must be to save themselves from cheats.
Accompanied by Home Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu, Baghel flagged off the Cyber Sangwari service vehicles to build public awareness.
Under the Home (Police) Department’s campaign, people will be educated in rural areas through the Sarpanch, Panch, education and Anganwadi workers and assistants, Mitanins and beat constables to avoid online fraud.
People will be told not to share their ATM card, Card Verification Value (CVV) and one-time password (OTP) numbers, not to click unwanted links on computers and mobiles and not to take help of unknown persons at ATM booths.
