CAIT condemns e-commerce cos for suspending operations

The Chhattisgarh chapter of the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) on Tuesday questioned the role of e-commerce companies operating in the country for suspending their operations when the whole world and India is facing the onslaught of coronavirus pandemic.

CAIT national vice-president Amar Parwani, state working presidents Magelal Malu and Vikram Singhdeo, in a joint statement, said when the whole world and country is going through a crises, the e-commerce companies have suspended their operation when it is most required for the consumers.

The e-commerce companies have failed to fulfill the needs of the nation, they said terming it as the most irresponsible stand and have to be condemned when all the commercial establishments have to play a key role in fighting over the crises by coming forward.
