CAG’s full report of 104 pages exposes all

In our July 2015 issue we had stated how a highly acclaimed officer – RB Sinha, Director General of Audit (Post and Telecommunications) of Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG) – was shunted out and posted at the CAG’s headquarters. His only fault was that in 2013-14, he examined the issue of allowing Reliance Jio voice telephony and had concluded in its May 2, 2014 draft report that the company was given undue advantage of Rs 22,842 crore on this account.
