Bundling deals and cashback offers: Airtel, Jio aim to get low end 4G smartphone users

NEW DELHI: Bharti Airtel and Reliance Jio are aggressively trying to acquire low end 4G smartphone users and are ring fencing their respective 2G feature phone users with the help of bundling and cashback offers.

The Sunil Mittal-led telecom operator has reacted to Reliance Jio’s ‘Jio Exclusive’ bundling offers with its ‘Mera Pehla Smartphone’ program, which now offers Rs 6,000 cash back for customers who purchase a smartphone priced upto Rs 12,000.
