BSNL working closely with partners to commercially launch 4G service: Chairman
NEW DELHI: State-run Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), despite the absence of next generation (4G) services, was able to save its revenue, and has become an operationally stable organisation with a healthy growth in enterprise and fibre-based wireline business, and said that Tata group-led consortium is on a right track to deploy 4G network. In an interaction with ETTelecom’s Muntazir Abbas, Pravin K Purwar, chairman, BSNL and Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) discussed wide ranging issues including salary disbursement to employees, vendors outstanding payments, 4G trials and assets monetisation.
