BSNL urges customers to avoid using personal numbers for promotional communications

NEW DELHI: State operator BSNL has urged its customers to not use their mobile or landline number for the purpose of any commercial communication, which can lead to usage restrictions or blacklisting, it said in a press statement Wednesday.

“In accordance with Telecom regulatory Authority of India, TRAI guidelines named as TCCCPR 2018, BSNL customers are requested not to use their mobile/landline for sending commercial communication of any type in any form of call or SMS”, it read.
