BSNL unions sour with Nirmala Sitharaman

Tiruchy: The national telecom contract employees federation (NTCEF) has condemned the Union Finance Minister Mrs Nirmala Sitharaman for rejecting the revival package for BSNL, given by the various employees’ unions, according to its general secretary C.K. Mathivanan.

He told newsmen at Tiruchy on Tuesday on the sidelines of a fast by the BSNL contract employees who are demanding immediate disbursement of seven months’ salary, that there are one lakh contract employees across the country including 10,000 in Tamil Nadu.
