BSNL to revise Rs 9,000 crore worth tender for 4G gear purchase
NEW DELHI: The bidding conditions for the procurement of fourth-generation or 4G equipment will be changed as per the policy following the strong objection by the Ministry of Commerce in line with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s prestigious Make in India initiative.
“We have floated a tender on March 23. Some of the companies objected on the basis of non-procurement under Make in India. That will be reworked as per the policy as well as clarified to stakeholders at bidders meet,” a highly-placed source told ETT.
