BSNL to provide telecom services in Delhi, Mumbai from 1 January: Report

NEW DELHI: Cash-strapped telco Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is gearing up to provide its wireless as well as fixed-line services in metro cities Delhi and Mumbai from 1 January 2021, as per a Business Standard Report.

To date, only Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) offered its telecom services in the two metros while BSNL catered to the rest of the country.

As per the publication, BSNL will provide the services on a trial basis on behalf of MTNL for a period of 5-6 months.
