BSNL rolls out Rs 2,399 prepaid plan: All the details

NEW DELHI: Telecom operators are busy launching long-term plans for their prepaid users. Recently, Reliance Jio and Airtel rolled out long-term plans, and now state-run telecom operator BSNL has also joined them. BSNL has rolled out its latest prepaid plan of Rs 2,399. This is a long-term plan and it comes with the validity of 600 days.
The new plan of Rs 2,399 offers 250 minutes per day for making calls on any network in the country. In case users exhaust the daily FUP limit then they will have to pay Rs 1 per minute for local calls and Rs 1.3 per minute for making STD calls. The plan also offers 100 SMS per day and free BSNL Tunes for the first 60 days from the date of activation. The interesting thing to note is that the plan does not offer any data benefit.
Recently, BSNL launched a new plan of Rs 699 for its prepaid subscribers. Apart from this, the service provider also revised its existing plan of Rs 188. Both these plans are available in the telecom circles of Tamil Nadu and Chennai.
