BSNL launches Rs 298 prepaid plan: Here’s how it compares to Reliance Jio’s Rs 297 plan
State-owned telecom operator BSNL has reportedly launched a new plan for its prepaid users in the country. The new plan that costs Rs 298 comes with both data and calling benefits.
BSNL Rs 298 prepaid plan: What it offers
According to a report by Telecom Talk, this special tariff voucher (STV 298) will come with a validity of 54 days. It will offer users unlimited calling benefits to local, national and roaming numbers. On the data front, users will get 1GB 3G data per day for the period of 54 days. Once the FUP limit is exhausted, users will have to make use of 40 kbps speed. The plan will also offer 100 SMS per day and come bundled with Eros Now subscription to its users, which will include free content from the channel.
Reliance Jio Rs 297 prepaid plan
The most recent entrant in the Indian telecom sphere Reliance Jio has a plan of Rs 299. Under this plan, users will get unlimited local and national calling and 100 SMS per day. They also get 3GB per day data for a validity of 28 days. Over that, Reliance Jio is also complimentary subscription to Jio apps as well.
