BSNL launches pre-loaded Yatra SIM cards for Amarnath Pilgrims

State-owned telecom operator BSNL has introduced a special Yatra SIM for Amarnath pilgrims. Buyers will get 20,000 seconds of free talk time and 1.5 GB Free data usage with the SIM. The voice and mobile data will have a validity of ten days. The SIM is priced at Rs 230 which includes the cost of STV and plan voucher.
The pre-loaded Yatra SIM can be purchased from various tourist centres in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. For obtaining the BSNL pre-loaded Yatra SIM card, pilgrims need to submit valid documents such as proof of address, proof of identity along with the applicant’s photograph. They are also required to submit a photocopy of registration slip issued by Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board (SASB) which shall be considered as local reference.
