BSNL case: Madras HC sets aside arbitrator’s award in favour of Isha Foundation

Chennai: The Madras High Court set aside the award granted in favour of Isha Foundation of Sadguru Jaggi Vasudev in a case related to the non-payment of telephone bills due to the BSNL.

The order was passed by a bench of Justice Senthil Kumar Ramamoorthy

BSNL had issued bills amounting to Rs 20,18,198 for the billing period between December 1, 2018 and December 31, 2018 and bill, dated February 2, 2019 for Rs 2,30,29,264 for the billing period of January 1, 2019 to February 1, 2019 to the Isha Foundation.
