Bravia, playstation help Sony arrest fall in India sales

Sony India has reversed the fall in revenue for over six years in the fiscal 2021-22, thanks to record growth in sales of its Bravia televisions and PlayStation gaming consoles during the Covid lockdown and restrictions.

As per the latest regulatory disclosures to the Registrar of Companies (RoC), Sony India sales went up by 14% to Rs 5,161 crore while profit too improved by 37% to Rs 103 crore in FY22.
