Bombay HC grants bail to Partho Dasgupta in TRP manipulation scam

The Bombay High Court on Tuesday granted bail to Partho Dasgupta, former chief executive of Broadcast Audience Research Council in the alleged television rating points (TRP) manipulation scam.

Justice PD Naik granted Dasgupta bail on furnishing a personal bond of Rs 2 lakh and solvent sureties. In an oral order, the Court allowed depositing of provisional cash bail immediately and Dasgupta will have to furnish solvent surety certificates within six weeks.
