Bokaro to become WiFi city soon

Mobile users can now avail free high-speed Internet at seven locations in the steel city. With the tireless efforts of the State Government and Bokaro district administration, Bokaro district is being developed into a WiFi zone.

In a bid to turn the district into WiFi city, the district administration in association with Jharkhand Communication Network Limited (JNCL) has started working on a free WiFi project for commoners. On the directive of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, the action is being taken to convert Bokaro city into a WiFi zone, informed Rajesh Kumar Singh, Deputy Commissioner Bokaro.

“A total of 9 sites have been selected to develop as WiFi spots; six out of nine spots are presently providing free WiFi service with 10 Mbps speed.
