Black Shark, Realme, Meizu, OnePlus join P2P file-transfer alliance
Beijing: Smartphone brands Realme, OnePlus, Black Shark as well as Meizu have joined the Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Transmission Alliance for faster cross-brand file transfers.
Last year, major manufacturers from China – Xiaomi, Vivo and OPPO – joined forces to develop a new Peer-to-Peer file transfer protocol to simplify and to improve performance cross-brand device file transfers.
With the arrival of Black Shark, Meizu, OnePlus, and Realme in the alliance, the cross-brand solution will reach nearly 40 crore users, reports XDA Developers.
The file transfer protocol supports a variety of file formats and it even lets users share entire folders with each other.
