BJP IT cell must prod people for vaccination: Raman

Former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister and BJP leader Dr Raman Singh on Wednesday asked the BJP’s IT and social media cells to urge people to take Covid-19 vaccination. Blaming the Chhattisgarh government for the pandemic’s spread in rural areas, he said people should be told that the President, Prime Minister and most doctors have taken the Covid vaccine and all are healthy. Dr Raman Singh was addressing a virtual meeting of the party’s social media and IT cell in-charge, district convenors and State Working Committee members here. Providing vaccination, oxygen, treatment and medicines for Covid patients is not a priority of the state government, he alleged.
