Biden admin asks those impacted by Trump travel ban to reapply for H-1B visa

The US Department of State has said that H-1B applicants whose petitions were denied on account of the travel ban can now reapply for a visa by submitting a fresh application.

In June last year, then US President Donald Trump had issued a ban on the entry of certain non-immigrant visa holders including H-1B and L-1 visas which are most commonly used by technology firms to send high-skill workers to the US. The ban, which had been extended to March 31 expired two days ago.
