Bharti’s OneWeb should not underestimate Jio satellite: Jio President Mathew Oommen

New Delhi: Bharti Group-backed OneWeb should not underestimate the competition from Jio’s satellite services that has already set up a gateway and demonstrated 1 Gbps broadband connectivity which can’t be matched by competition any time soon, a top Jio executive said.

“We never underestimate our competition. And I hope he (Sunil Mittal) doesn’t either,” Mathew Oommen, president of Reliance Jio, told ET.
