Bharti-backed OneWeb seeks more time to provide network details

New Delhi: Bharti group-backed OneWeb has sought more time to furnish security-related network details for getting a land mobility authorisation under its licence to provide satellite-based broadband services.

As per officials aware of the details, OneWeb has told the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) that since the company recently merged with France’s Eutelsat, it needs more time to provide the network details.
