Bharti Airtel shuts down 3G services in Madhya Pradesh and Chhatisgarh

New Delhi: Bharti Airtel on Thursday said that it has switched off its 3G network in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, but will continue to provide 2G services in the region to serve the connectivity needs of customers on feature phones.

The telco said that it has re-farmed its spectrum in the 2100 Mhz band that was being used for 3G services, to further strengthen its 4G Network. It has now deployed L2100 technology on 4G to complement its existing 4G services.
