Bharti Airtel says it has no desire to buy out Vodafone Plc’s share and up stake in Indus Towers

Refuting reports, private telecom company Bharti Airtel on Wednesday said it has ‘no desire’ to raise its stake in Indus Towers, through a stock exchange intimation.

“(Bharti Airtel) has no desire to raise its stake beyond what is required for financial consolidation of Indus in the company, which shall be done as and when appropriate with compliance of applicable disclosure requirements,” Airtel said in a statement.
