Bharti Airtel looking better placed than Jio, says Hemang Jani

Hemang Jani, Equity Strategist & Senior Group VP, MOFSL says continues to be positive on both Bharti and Jio. Given the very aggressive bidding that they have done for 5G auction, one has to see their price hike plan.

There is renewed optimism in the PSU space. Does it make a case for investment or is it still a trading bet?
The way things have gone post Budget in terms of the entire divestment plan and the progress that we have seen in terms of decision making by the government to move forward has brought in positive sentiment. After one or two actual divestments happen in Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) or may be Concor and a couple of shipping companies, that would set the tone for a bigger rerating for the sector.
