Bharti Airtel appoints Amrita Padda as Chief People Officer

NEW DELHI: Bharti Airtel Wednesday appointed Amrita Padda as Chief People Officer, effective from October 1, 2021.

She will report to Gopal Vittal, MD and CEO of Bharti Airtel.

In her new role, Padda will be responsible for driving Airtel’s people strategy as the telco transforms into a digital services provider, as per an official statement.

Prior to joining Airtel, she was associated with Hindustan Unilever for over 20 years and handled the entire spectrum of Human Resources roles.
