Bengaluru fastest growing R&D centre for LinkedIn, co looking to get more senior tech talent: CTO Raghu Hiremagalur

India is the fastest growing country from an engagement standpoint for LinkedIn and in terms of memberships, it is the second largest after the US. In the last two years, India reported a 65% growth in revenues for the company and witnessed a substantial spike in conversations and engagement during the Covid-19 pandemic. In an exclusive interview to ET, Raghu Hiremagalur, chief technology officer and VP, engineering at LinkedIn said the company’s R&D centre in Bengaluru is the fastest growing R&D site from a percentage standpoint and the company is focusing on bring in more senior talent there. LinkedIn has an R&D presence in the Bay Area, Dublin, New York, Beijing and Tel Aviv.
