BCCI, Disney-Star at odds over payment for India-S Africa series

Broadcaster Disney Star and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) are locked in disagreement over the quantum of media rights payment relating to the postponed India vs South Africa series.

BCCI’s emergent apex council meeting on Monday also discussed edtech major Byju’s request to encash its bank guarantee worth ₹140 crore to honour its sponsorship commitment and allow it to pay the remaining ₹160 crore in instalments.
