Battlegrounds Mobile India records 34 million players within a week of launch

South Korean video game developer Krafton said that Battlegrounds Mobile India has surpassed 34M registered users within a week after its release via Google Play. The game is still to be launched on Apple iOS. Following a formal launch on July 2, the company has recorded 34 million registered users, a peak of 16 million daily active users, and 2.4 million peak concurrent users.

The game is currently ranked number one among ‘top free games’ on Google Play Store. Earlier, the company had said that nearly 20 million users had tried the game in India during its pre-launch phase.
