Bank of India selects Hughes to link 1,800 bank branches with satellite connectivity

NEW DELHI: Satellite broadband and managed network services provider Hughes Communications India Private Ltd. (HCIPL) said it has been selected by the Bank of India (BoI) to connect 1,800 bank branches with satellite network connectivity across the country.

The project will also link Aryavart Bank, Madhya Pradesh Gramin Bank (MPGB), Vidharbha Konkan Gramin Bank (VKGB), and rural BoI branches across Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra with satellite internet.
