AWS announces public sector partnerships in India

In a series of announcements related to its public sector business in India, Amazon Web Services on Friday said that the government of Telangana (Telangana) was working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to advance its Cloud Adoption Framework to improve the scale and efficiency of its citizen service delivery for its 40 million residents, which will help reduce costs by 33%.

The US firm also announced the second cohort of the Quantum Computing Applications Lab (QCAL), in collaboration with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) with support from the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser (PSA) to the Government of India, as well as Mphasis and Fractal.
