Aviat bags E-band, multi-band solutions deal from Airtel for 5G rollout

NEW DELHI: Aviat Networks, a wireless transport solutions provider, has bagged E-band and multi-band solutions deal from India’s Bharti Airtel to upgrade the latter’s microwave backhaul network capacity.

Airtel will deploy Aviat’s all-outdoor WTM 4800 E-band and multi-band solutions to significantly expand the capacity of its microwave backhaul network, according to a statement by the Austin, Texas-headquartered company.
