Attrition in telecom sector hits six-qtr high in Oct-Dec

MUMBAI: The telecom sector saw attrition at a six-quarter high in the October-December period at 12.05% as it faced challenges around retaining technical and service staff, many of whom moved to tech companies amidst a war for talent. Attrition for the telecom sector in fact is set to rise further in the coming January-March period with various sectors vying for talent with skills related to 5G technology and use cases, staffing firm TeamLease Services said in a report exclusive to ET.
