AT&T says to deploy new C-band spectrum for 5G from late 2021
NEW DELHI: American telco AT&T on Friday said it will start deploying the recently acquired 80MHz C-band spectrum starting at the end of 2021 and from next year onwards to complement its 5G network on low-band for delivering faster average speeds across the country.
The company is also expecting to shore up new subscribers for its HBO Max streaming service as its unlimited wireless plan users will get the streaming service benefit at no extra cost while business, as well as unlimited wireless plan users, will get access to AT&T 5G free-of-cost, it said during the Analyst & Investor Day.
