ATC India goes to Delhi cops after finding copycat websites

NEW DELHI: A global telecom infrastructure providing company has lodged a complaint with Delhi Police after finding an array of fake websites with similar logos and phone numbers operating in their name. The company alleged that the gang behind the con job has duped several people by posing as their representatives.

The fraudsters are not only running portals with a similar domain name as that of the company, but have also opened bank accounts to cheat people. The gang has been taking money from people by promising to install telecom towers on their property for a good rental income. After trapping their victims, the gang demands money for processing fee, registration charges and security deposits.
