ATC booked $16 million ‘unrealised loss’ in Q1 2023 on Vodafone Idea OCDs

Kolkata: American Tower Corp (ATC) has informed the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) that it has recognised almost a $16 million (around Rs 130 crore) unrealised loss in the first quarter of calendar 2023 on the optionally convertible debentures (OCDs) that were issued to it by Vodafone Idea (Vi) – its biggest customer in India.

“…the company recognised unrealised losses of $15.7 million for the Vi OCDs held as of March 31, 2023,” ATC said in a global SEC filing, dated April 26.
