‘Asymmetric’ 5G upload, download speeds need to improve to support enterprise use cases: Report

NEW DELHI: The download and upload speeds of fifth-generation or 5G networks remain highly asymmetrical, which needs to improve to support enterprise use cases, according to a report by CELLSMART. CELLSMART is the cellular intelligence unit of managed services provider SmartCIC.

The low-latency capabilities and the high bandwidth capabilities of 5G in the enterprise segment will drive use cases such as Industry 4.0, automation, smart utilities, and more.
