Asus Zenfone 5Z gets new software update in India: Audio quality improvement, April security patch and more

Asus is rolling a firmware update for the Zenfone 5Z in India to improve overall software experience of the device along with security updates. This upgrades the firmware of the Zenfone 5Z to version 90.11.162.58. The software update will be pushed over-the-air (OTA) in batches. The new update package also includes the April 2019 Google security patch and also claims to improve the overall audio quality and boot up speed. The update is also expected to fix bugs and improve the overall stability of the phone.
Meanwhile, Asus recently rolled out Android Pie operating system upgrade to Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1, Zenfone Max M2 recently and Zenfone Max Pro M2 as well.
The company has also reduced the prices of Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1, Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2, Asus Zenfone Max M2 and the flagship Asus Zenfone 5Z in India. The flagship smartphone Asus Zenfone 5Z is now available at Rs 24,999 for the base variant of 6GB RAM and 64GB storage. High variants include 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM and 8GB RAM + 256GB ROM.
