Assam cops launch YouTube channel

The Assam police launched its official YouTube channel to facilitate police-public cooperation.

Launched by the state DGP G.P. Singh at the police headquarters here on Sunday evening, the channel named The Assam Police Channel has logged over 15,000 subscribers by Monday afternoon.

Singh said the Assam police already have their social media handles on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and with the launch of the YouTube channel, they have another mode of communication to reach out to the public.
