Archana, hubby’s mobiles sent to CFSL

In a development in the honey-trap and extortion case, the mobile phones of main accused Archana Nag and her husband Jagabandhu Chand were on Monday sent to the Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL) for tests and retrieval of data.

The Khandagiri police had seized three phones from Nag’s house and initially sent them to the State Forensic Science Laboratory (SFSL) for tests. However, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) wanted to send the phones to the CFSL after the SFSL failed to provide phone data.

In another development in the case, Nag’s associate Shraddhanjali Behera failed to appear for her hearing in the court on Monday while all the accused Archana, Jagabandhu and their associate Khageswar appeared through videoconferencing.
