ArcelorMittal starts digital consulting biz in India

BENGALURU: ArcelorMittal, the world’s second biggest steel maker, has established a digital consulting unit in India with the objective of helping the group’s diverse entities to transform digitally.

Navneet Singh, who was with Zensar Technologies for nearly 16 years, most recently as its automation head and business partner for digital transformation for consumer services, took over as CEO of ArcelorMittal Digital Consulting earlier this year.

Rahul Kumar, group CIO & CISO at ArcelorMittal, said the steel industry needs to catch up with other industries in digitalisation, so there’s a huge opportunity for the digital consulting unit.
