Apps push Cisco’s data centre business forward

Cisco’s data centre technologies business is growing on the back of increased demand for applications across sectors in India, its country manager said.

Many factors are responsible for the growth of apps, primarily a surge in digital transformation initiatives across industries in the country.

This is driving the company’s multi-cloud platform business, particularly its offerings for application modernisation and data centre network along with application centric infrastructure (ACI) for connecting the core to the edge, said Trideep Roy, country manager-data centre, Cisco.
