Apple’s next laptop may change the way you type on the keyboard
Since the past couple of years, Apple has been facing some heat when it comes to MacBook laptops, specially its keyboards. The company’s ‘Butterfly’ style keyboard has gone through several iterations but seems to be an issue for many when it comes to reliability and low-travel design. However, the iPhone maker is now planning to ditch this keyboard design and move on to something new.
As mentioned by analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple could make a move towards scissor switches style of keyboard for the future MacBook laptops. This new keyboard design may show up as soon as this year with the next-gen Apple MacBook Air, which is being tipped as MacBook Air 2019, according to Kuo (via 9to5Mac). MacBook Pro laptop is also said to get this new feature but users would have to wait until 2020 for that.
