Apple’s new affordable iPhone name revealed, launch imminent

Apple’s affordable iPhone has been a part of the rumour mill since quite some time and now enthusiasts have some official confirmation to hang on to. Apple’s official website has listed a screen cover for iPhone 7, iPhone 8 and even iPhone SE. Since the first-generation iPhone SE came with completely different dimensions in comparison to the iPhone 8 and iPhone 7, it is safe to assume that the new generation iPhone SE will be identical to Apple’s last phones with the iconic home button and no notch.

The listing shows that the screen cover is only common with the smaller sized iPhone 8 and not the Plus version. Earlier, the device was expected to either be named iPhone 9 or iPhone SE 2. However, the company is sticking with the simple iPhone SE 2020 version.

Going by the revelation, the new iPhone SE will feature a 4.7-inch display and will bring back the home button that was last seen on the iPhone 8.
