Apple’s iPhone XR best selling model in Q3: Counterpoint
NEW DELHI: Apple’s iPhone XR was the top-selling model globally in Q3 2019 with a 3% market share in global sales, as per Counterpoint Research’s recent data.
According to Counterpoint ‘Market Pulse’ report, the model has continuously been top globally in every quarter since Q4 2018 and has alone contributed to over one fourth of total Apple sales during the third quarter this year, making it the bestselling model for the US giant across all regions.
The report further says that Apple’s price adjustment for iPhone XR in China and several other markets also helped it keep demand strong during the quarter.
Samsung’s Galaxy A10 comes next in line with global sales market share of 2.6% with Galaxy A50 and Galaxy A20 also making it to the top 10 model list for Q3 2019. However, the list did not have any flagship handsets from Samsung.
