Apple working on iOS 16.1.1 update to fix ad-related issues, Wi-Fi bug: Report

Apple released the iOS 16.1 update late last month with a set of new capabilities and features. The update also brought several bug fixes for the iPhone. However, some users have been complaining about problems with Wi-Fi connectivity after they updated their iPhones with the latest update. Furthermore, a few advertisers also reported that they are facing issues in knowing the success of their ads. The iPhone maker is said to be working on an iOS 16.1.1 update to fix both of these issues.

iPhone Wi-Fi bug

Various users complained on Twitter and Reddit that they are getting periodic, and sometimes random, disconnects from Wi-Fi after updating to iOS 16.1. They claim that this behaviour is seen throughout the day ‘despite no changes in their environment.’ Some users claimed that their Wi-Fi disconnected when their iPhones were left stationary on standby.
