Apple Watch reportedly getting iPhone-style widgets with watchOS 10

Apple Watch is reportedly getting iOS-like widgets with soon-to-be-launched watchOS 10. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the announcement will be made at the upcoming WWDC in June.

Widgets were part of the earlier iteration of watchOS. However, the company decided to remove them a few years ago. Gurman says the new widgets will play a “central part of the interface.”

watchOS 10 is said to introduce a revamped UI built around widgets, and the company will use it to display information like activity tracking, weather details, stock updates, and more. This is also said to work like an overlay, which will allow users to access a lot of information at a glance,
