Apple to refund credits to Apple TV Plus subscribers until June
Apple will refund credits to Apple TV Plus subscribers until June. The move comes after the company extended the free trial programme last month.
The refund is available to customers who had switched to paid subscription status before the extension of the free trial was announced. It is available to both subscribers who chose the annual and monthly packages.
Apple had given similar refund credits to its Apple TV Plus subscribers when it issued the first extension of the free trial. According to 9to5Google, Apple is sending emails to subscribers to inform that they will receive monthly credits of $4.99 (or the local equivalent of the subscription fee) to their Apple accounts. Users can use the credits to make App Store purchases.
