Apple takes down popular fake ChatGPT from the App Store

The money-making stint of the top ChatGPT imposter, “ChatGPT Chat GPT AI With GPT-3,” has finally come to an end. In yesterday’s report, we talked about this app and how it was scamming people using the name of OpenAI’s chatbot. Now, it turns out that the suspicious app has apparently been taken down by the App Store.

Not only had the copycat app used ChatGPT’s name to gain downloads, but it had also managed to scam people into shelling out money via in-app purchases. That seems more inappropriate when you realise the real one is available free of cost on chat.openai.com.
