Apple sued for patent infringement over Shortcuts application: Report

NEW DELHI: A company called Aftechmobile is reportedly suing smartphone brand Apple for patent infringement. The lawsuit, said to be filed in the US District Court for the Northern District of California accuses Apple of infringing Claim 5 of US patent number 10,133,558. The suit was reported by AppleInsider.

The patent is related with the Shortcuts application that lets Apple users create custom shortcuts for their favourite apps. In the filing, Aftechmobile has claimed that Apple’s description of Shortcuts is similar to wording used in the patent.
